Fast Facts: “Nones” on the Rise
- Number of “Nones” Has Jumped from 8 Percent in 1990 to 23 Percent in 2014
- There are more than four former Christians for every convert to Christianity.
- The bulk of the "nones" (15.8%, up from 12.1% in 2007) don't even commit to any view on God. Instead, they say they believe " nothing in particular."
- Among Millennials (those born between 1981 and 1996), nones now comprise 36 percent.
- Combined, there are more "nones" than Evangelical Lutherans, United Methodists and Episcopalians all together.
- “Nones” now outnumber both Protestant and Catholic groups.
- One-third of “nones” now say they do NOT believe in God.

Dr. Chuck Lawless
Chuck Lawless will present a special session on how to combat spiritual warfare as you mobilize for Evangelism. For the past 20 years, he has studied, written and taught about spiritual warfare. Dr. Lawless is Dean and Vice-President of Graduate Studies and Ministry Centers at Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, where he also serves as Professor of Evangelism and Missions. In addition, he is Global Theological Education Consultant for the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. He has also served as professor and dean of the Billy Graham School of Missions and Evangelism. Prior to that, he was pastor of two Ohio churches. A conference leader and author of several books, including Discipled Warriors, Putting on the Armor, Mentor, and Nobodies for Jesus, Dr. Lawless has a strong interest in discipleship and mentoring. Dr. Lawless is also president of the Lawless Group, a church consulting firm. He and his wife, Pam, have been married for more than 20 years and they live in Wake Forest, NC.
